Heal, together.

We’re here to remind you that everything you need to heal is already within you. We’re here to remind you and mirror that light for yourself so you may bring it out for the world, because you matter and the simple fact that you’re alive, that you’re here in relation to the whole world, is in itself deeply essential.

It’s time to turn
your pain into purpose.

We all know we’re missing community, and healthy food, and connection to nature, and an acceptance of our inner emotional worlds. We know that healing from trauma or addiction or just the exhaustion of life is not a one-person job. It takes a village, and we’re bringing that back.

From the infrastructure of how our organization is run to the way we design the landscapes of our properties, community and connection is at the root of every intentional detail.

We want you to feel at home in your body, at home in your mind, and at home with the world. Our mission is about radical wholeness - a full, embodied, and soulful integration of all parts of us. It starts from the water we drink and the food we eat to the books we read and the conversations we have with one another. We didn’t build another resort, we’ve built a genuine community, and by the time your stay with us is finished, you’ll be able to do the same.

The world needs good leaders and we have designed a container to empower that part of you to step into the world with self love, compassion, and strength. Our goal is to strip away the limiting beliefs and platform the ever expanding purpose within you. Your pain has led you here. Your difficult experiences have all brought you to this exact moment.

Curriculum:

The program structure and curriculum mirror the inward journey that you will be taking and the various levels of relatedness. Inspired by a growing tree, there are three rings of groups, classes, and activities. Traditionally, you would be given a daily schedule and expected to keep to it. At The Place, besides a few core requirements, you will work closely with a dedicated concierge to guide you through individualizing your stay.

  • This ring will center around how you relate to the world at large - from understanding current theories, how the cultural perspectives we come from inform us, to the body, gender, the brain, and so much more. Unlike traditional models, this first “ring” of groups and classes is not a deep dive into your childhood “trauma” but rather a clear eyed look at your relatedness to the world as it now stands.

  • The world can be too large and overwhelming a place to make sense of where we, as individuals, belong. Serving as the bridge between Self and the world, this ring focuses on interdependence - how we relate to community. Delving deeper into healthy ways of relating - to friends, family, colleagues, and all those we actively encounter, you will discover and heal your personal roadblocks to connection, learning what belonging is, how to live in it, and how to build it. Having found the solace and security of community, you will have the tools and strength to dive deeply into the 3rd ring.

  • Focused on how we relate to ourselves, this ring will help you extensively explore your experience of life thus far, providing tools to make meaningful change and ultimately helping you transform your pain into purpose. You will return to daily life with greater awareness and alignment.

What happens when you leave The Place?

After working at some of the most renown treatment centers in the country, we knew we had to do better. Whether you stay with us or somewhere else, we want to encourage you to ask what happens at discharge. We’ve put a lot of thought into the process and understand that the transition from full time residential can be overwhelming. Your last week with us will start that transition. You’ll have the option to move to our spa and wellness resort while continuing to work with your providers to help you plan out the best and most supportive return, and you’ll be able to invite any loved one(s) to join you and get a glimpse into your world. Along with that, we have an extensive alumni program, and will host annual retreats for you.
Once you become a part of the community, you will always have a Place.
